Oak Crest is totally fresh and inspiring. What Oak Crest offers is Unique & FUN, Budget to Luxury lodging! You definately won't find any of the norm here! We know you are busy and may not want to spend a lot of time reading fluff…so we’ll try to give you the short version up front and then if you want to know more you can browse this site and find out just about everything there is to know about us, our cottages and Eureka Springs! Bottom line is we offer Unique Themed Lodging with or without Imaginative Packages at affordable rates! All our accommodations are themed from memories of our travels and childhood. All our accommodations are Non-Smoking, but you can smoke out on your porch or deck. For those who still want to know more… Elaine & Don arrived in Eureka Springs in August 2002! This website is written by Elaine with Don’s approval of course! For the past 5 years we have been building, remodeling and decorating…HGTV style!!! If you are a fan of HGTV and/or Trading Spaces, just wait until you visit Oak Crest! We have had a ball coming up with themes and then implementing them. We are always giving out paint recipes and/or getting decorating tips from guests. Fortunately for us, our daughter Dawn & her husband Ben (our wonderful son-in-law) have now come on board. Anyway, I’m getting a little carried away here. I promised you just the facts! So here goes… ALL our accommodations are Non-Smoking! Smoking is permitted out on your porch or deck.

ACCOMMODATIONS… Check them all out under “View Rooms” on the left hand side of this page. There are tons of pictures! The “Barn”-a Very Special Place was built in mid 2003. The one word that is used most often to describe it is “Perfect!” Our Rock Cottages were all remodeled in 2004 and now all feature a Jacuzzi for 2 and a Fireplace. From “A Tuscany Dream” to “A Santa Fe Sunset” these cottages offer a great retreat! Our Oak Crest Treehouses, which are perched in the trees premiered in May 2005. Not at all what you would expect in the way of furnishings. The City Loft is all sleek and modern, The Chateau is very romantic and the Sedona is our most rustic. In September 2007 we opened Eureka Springs Treehouses which is at a different location, but not far away. It offers another ten treehouses. You can also view them on this website. We offer three themes Venice, Santa Fe and New York. Not at all what you expect to find in Eureka Springs!!! Now if you are on a tight budget but would like something more than a white motel room, we also have themed “Lodge” rooms! One of these was used for a few scenes in a Billy Bob Thornton movie “Chrystal”, which was filmed in June of 2003! A Sampling of Lodge rooms is “Suite Memories”-with an old gas pump, drive-in speakers and a jukebox radio at the table, and of course “Thornton’s Queen Suite” and "The Paris Flat"!

LOCATION...LOCATION...LOCATION... We are located on the quiet and more picturesque west side of Eureka Springs, 1 ½ miles out of the historic downtown shopping district. We are only minutes from the Passion Play and all other attractions. With the trolley coming right to the driveway your vacation will be one of convenience with no traffic worries. AMENITIES… All our accommodations have a refrigerator, coffeemaker with coffee and a microwave and more than half of them have a Fireplace! (Gas-in season only.) They all are Air Conditioned and have cable TVs, most with VCRs and/or DVDs! And of course they all have their own bathrooms and linens! All the individual cottages have a Jacuzzi for 2! HIGH SPEED INTERNET! The Treehouses and The Barn offer High Speed Internet. No not wireless but REAL HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS!!! Cool, huh! From the beginning we knew that we wanted to offer Themed Luxury to Budget Lodging along with or without Unique, Fun & Romantic Packages! The Package idea was born from my love of Romance & Adventure! I admit that I do get a little carried away with them! Our offerings are from the norm to the unexpected from tickets to The Great Passion Play to a Romance Package that offers Candles and Rose Petals to a Canoe Float with Picnic and a ton more! WEDDING/HONEYMOON… Did someone say…WEDDING/HONEYMOON PACKAGES??? WE LOVE THESE! We feel so honored that our Brides & Grooms have let us be a part of their special day.
